  • Situated in the Vale of Glamorgan, Glyndwr vineyard was planted in 1982 with 3 acres of Guyot trained vines by the Norris family of Llanblethian. By 1992 it was producing over 12000 bottles . A further 3 acres were then planted and are now producing. Three types of wine are produced including a light red and a sparkling wine. All are available locally.
    The scene on the label depicts Owain Glyndwr, Prince of Wales with his Welsh stronghold , Carreg Cennen Castle , in the background. Glyndwr vineyard is sited not far from the scene of one of his many battles.
