  • The vineyard planted on Devon Marl just south of BROMYARD (OS location 670500) 4000 vines have been planted in an area of consistent rainfall protected from strong Westerly winds by the Welsh mountains.
The vineyard was established to include a small model vineyard which shows various methods of training about 8 or 9 varieties of vine which will include reds.Training methods include the Guyot, Geneva Double Curtain as well as New World methods such as the Lyre and Scott Henry. Several types of wine are produced , which invariably achieved English Quality Wine status.
Nearby attractions include the ACTON BEAUCHAMP rose gardens and the 14th Century manor house at Lower Brockhampton

The best way to reach this vineyard is via the B4214 from Bromyard. Just past Munderfield Stocks, look for a narrow lane to your left and follow it for about a mile and a half. If you are coming from the the south, turn right in Bishop's Frome, following the signs to the industrial estate. When clear of the village, take the left hand fork (just before you cross the river)
