	Hidden at the bottom of a steep hill outside the village of Down St Mary - a splendid break on the journey to North Cornwall. Don't try to drive over the river bridge on the other side of the vineyard ! First planted in 1986 with over 4000 vines, mailly German in origin. The winery is an old water mill converted with the aid of a European grant. Rumours abound of its previous use as a home for an illicit Calvados still.
