Denbies is big by English standards - a multi-million investment in the climate changes. It provides a major tourist centre just north and Dorking. Tourists can obtain a good meal and have a tour (by electric train) of the winery and cellars. The excellent restaurant serves wines by the glass. Well worth a visit if only to have lunch under the trees in the glass-roofed restaurant! In the buildings is housed the Surrey County Council collection on the composer Vaughan Williams, which is well worth a visit
