Trophies and Mercian medals in the 2008 UKVA competition

An excellent display of medals from Mercian members in the UKVA contest hosted by the Thames & Chilterns Association at Brightwell Vineyard, Wallingford on Thames. Debut medals for Richard Tomkinson at Rose Bank and especial praise to Winemaker of the Year Martin Fowke of Three Choirs at Newent in Gloucestershire. The TOM DAY trophy for Best Single varietal went home to the vineyard that was founded by Tom.
